The SAP system is implemented,

Successful bank debt refinancing,

The new Novacap headquarters is installed in Lyon,

Direct take-over of operational activities in Pont-de-Claix(Novacid),

A second sodium bicarbonate unit is created (Novacarb),

Start-up of the Ferric chloride unit (+50 kt/year) in Pont-de-Claix (Novacid) and installation of a joint venture with Feralco, « Feracid »
Acquisition of Novacyl, a new autonomous entity operating in the key sectors of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
Acquisition of a 90 MW Cogeneration unit in La Madeleine Novacarb (Novacoge)

 Investment in a new 6,000 mt methyl salicylate unit in Roussillon
